Seattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodríguez will undergo an MRI on his quad after suffering an injury against the Toronto Blue Jays Saturday night, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).
After the Mariners' 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays, Seattle manager Scott Servais said that Rodríguez reported some discomfort in his quad before the game. After showing visible signs of pain in the first inning in center field, Rodríguez exited the game.
"I'm hoping it's nothing too serious. Day game tomorrow, would love to have him in there, but we'll see. We have an off day after that," Servais said.
