Jeff Locke yielded four runs over five innings in a no-decision in Thursday's victory against the Cubs.
Locke allowed a bunch of base runners, as the Cubs tallied seven hits and three walks. However, the lefty was able to use seven strikeouts to his advantage to limit the damage. The Cubs lucked into two runs in the second inning when Andrew Lambo misplayed a ball in left-center, leading to a two-run Jonathan Herrera triple, which -- aside from the hard contact -- wasn't really Locke's fault. Locke heads into next week's Wrigley Field start versus the Cubs with a 3.
