Jeff Locke got the loss on Tuesday, allowing the Reds to score four times in seven innings.
Locke gave up a pair of home runs in the process: a solo shot to Todd Frazier in the second inning, and a two-run blast to Marlon Byrd in the third. Overall, he yielded seven hits and two walks while striking out five. After posting strong results in his first two starts, Locke has been mediocre in his last three and now has a 4.85 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and a 25/9 K/BB ratio over 29 2/3 innings. He'll find an even tougher match-up in his next scheduled start as he takes on the Cardinals at home on Sunday.
