America was a lot different in 1985, the year of the Kansas City Royals’ only World Series title before they defeated the New York Mets in a thrilling Game 5 on Sunday night to claim their second championship in franchise history.
Thirty years is a long time. Just think, most people didn’t have cell phones or the Internet, and nobody had any idea what an “iPod” was.
