A look at one X-Factor from each of the four LCS teams.
October baseball is in full swing and so far it’s been everything we’ve expected it to be. In other words, it’s been everything it always is: exciting, intense, dramatic.
In the wild-card round we saw a 98-win team eliminated after one game, six rookies start a playoff game, two shutouts, a complete game shutout and four home runs.
In the divisional series we witnessed three Game 5’s, a 6-homer game from one team, three double-digit strikeout performances from starters, a controversial take-out slide, two former Cy Young winners pitch out of the bullpen, a 14-inning game, a home run ball land on top of the scoreboard, and the bat flip of the century, among other exciting feats.
