New York Yankees pitcher Jordan Montgomery could reportedly miss up to two months after he was diagnosed with a left flexor strain.
According to WFAN's Sweeny Murti, Montgomery won't be allowed to throw for another two to three weeks and has an estimated timetable for recovery in the range of six to eight weeks.
Montgomery, 25, was pulled one inning into his start against the Houston Astros on Tuesday night with left elbow tightness.
In six starts this season, the southpaw has gone 2-0 with a 3.
