Gibson wasn't pitching well, but limited the Halos to two runs over his first five innings. But four consecutive batters reached base to start the sixth before Gibson was pulled. Blaine Boyer relieved Gibson and immediately served up a home run to Chris Iannetta, allowing both inherited runners to score. The right-hander, overall, allowed 10 hits and a walk while striking out six. The outing balloons his ERA back up to 3.19 with a 1.29 WHIP and an 84/37 K/BB ratio in 118 2/3 innings. Gibson will face the Yankees at home in his next outing.
