Connecticut-born singer John Mayer is a die-hard New York Mets fan. After the team's loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS on Sunday night, he took to social media to express his admiration for shortstop Francisco Lindor and the team.
Mayer, a member of the band Dead & Company, had an impressive 30-show residency at the Las Vegas Sphere and the singer drew inspiration from Lindor when he severely injured his finger during a performance as reported by TMZ Sports.
"My first thought was how to play with the other three fingers," he wrote on social media.
