Major League Baseball suspended Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell one game and fined him an undisclosed amount after he argued with an umpire during Boston's 6-3 defeat to the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, MLB.com's Mark Feinsand reported.
Farrell was ejected in the seventh inning after Red Sox reliever Fernando Abad was called for a balk, which allowed Cameron Maybin to score and put the Angels ahead 5-1.
