Yankees purchased the contract of RHP Joel de la Cruz from Double-A Trenton.
De la Cruz, 25, posted a 4.44 ERA over 121 2/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A for the Yanks last season. He's just an extra arm for the bullpen and doesn't figure to be up long. Apr 13 - 5:00 PM
