New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom was easily recognized during the team’s World Series run by his long, brown hair, which he had decided to keep.
The right-hander made a big stink about being sick and tired of his flowing locks during the World Series, saying “It’s driving me nuts. I’ve got to get rid of it,” per Adam Rubin of ESPN.com.
Apparently that sentiment is no longer guiding deGrom, who told Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News he’s changed his mind.
To any ladies out there who didn’t exactly love his unruly look this postseason, he did tell Ackert he plans on cleaning things up a bit up top.
