Jacob deGrom has carbon copy of NLDS Game 5, except that the Mets lost

LOS ANGELES -- New York Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom mimicked his outing from Game 5 of the National League Division Series.

DeGrom again allowed two first-inning runs, navigated clear of other early trouble and did not surrender any other damage during his outing.

This time, though, the Mets lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-2, on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium. Hansel Robles surrendered a walk-off homer to Trayce Thompson in the bottom of the ninth.

DeGrom allowed two runs on eight hits while striking out four in a season-high seven innings en route to a no-decision.
