Jackie Bradley Jr. entered Wednesday with a .367 average in 30 at-bats for Triple-A Pawtucket.
Bradley's hitting, or lack thereof, is one of the reasons he started the year in Pawtucket. A Gold Glove caliber outfielder, Bradley owns a paltry .196 average across 479 big league at-bats. If Bradley can at least be competent at the plate, he should be able to carve out a role for himself at the major league level. Of course, that's unlikely to happen in Boston with Daniel Nava, Shane Victorino, Allen Craig, Mookie Betts, Hanley Ramirez and Brock Holt all seeing time in the outfield.
