Four Detroit Tigers were tossed from Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels by home plate umpire Mike Everitt.
The ejections started in the third inning, when designated hitter Victor Martinez was run for arguing a strike call in the middle of an at bat, and continued two innings later.
Manager Brad Ausmus and hitting coach Wally Joyner were shown the door in the fifth for arguing, and outfielder J.D. Martinez followed them to the clubhouse after voicing his displeasure after a strikeout.
Martinez's ejection was particularly eventful. The slugger continued to have words with Everitt for several minutes after being ejected, and threw his helmet in the air when he finally made it to the dugout, still yelling toward home plate.
