But that’s exactly what Trevor Brown intends to do with his limited playing time on the San Francisco Giants. As the backup catcher to three-time All-Star Buster Posey, Brown mostly takes a backseat, hopping into intermittent starts as the Giants periodically rest their franchise star.
In fact, the Giants had hoped to rely on Andrew Susac in the backup role this season.
