Grading the Top 10 MLB Prospects of 2024 International Signing Period

The 2024 international signing period closed on Sunday, Dec. 15, marking the end of another window of new international prospects entering the professional baseball ranks.

Atlanta Braves shortstop Jose Perdomo and San Diego Padres shortstop Leodalis De Vries ended up securing the two largest bonuses at $5 million and $4.2 million, respectively, and there were 10 total prospects who received a bonus of $2 million or higher.

Ahead we've provided some early grades on the performance of those 10 high-priced international pickups based on their production in their pro debuts. Most prospects began their career in the Dominican Summer League, which is the equivalent of stateside rookie ball, though the aforementioned De Vries jumped straight to Single-A.
