Paul Goldschmidt notched his second consecutive three-hit game, going 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI in a win over the Rockies on Tuesday.
Goldschmidt knocked in the Diamondbacks' first run in the first inning with a single and came around to score on Mark Trumbo's triple. In the eighth, he capped a three-run inning with a two-run double. Goldschmidt, as expected, has been deadly at the dish, batting .315/.425/.575 with five home runs and 19 RBI. The 2013 runner-up in NL MVP balloting, Goldschmidt could be on his way to another MVP-caliber season. Apr 29 - 12:58 AM
