Miami Marlins general manager Dan Jennings will move down to the dugout to become the team's next manager, sources confirmed to ESPN's Buster Olney on Monday.

Jennings will replace Mike Redmond, who was fired Sunday by owner Jeffrey Loria after the Marlins fell to 16-22 and nearly were no-hit in a 6-0 loss to Atlanta that completed a three-game sweep.
