Dodgers' Yoshinobu Yamamoto Placed on IL With Triceps Injury; Will Undergo More Tests

Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been placed on the 15-day injury list and will undergo further testing, per the Los Angeles Times' Mike DiGiovanna.

Juan Toribio of MLB.com reported that Yamamoto was dealing with soreness and tightness around his right triceps area following his 106-pitch outing against the New York Yankees last weekend.

Yamamoto pitched two innings on Saturday in a 7-2 loss against the Kansas City Royals, allowing one hit, a walk and picking up one strikeout.
