It is difficult to replace Mookie Betts' impact atop a lineup, but the Los Angeles Dodgers may turn to arguably the best player in baseball.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters his "initial thought" is he will hit Shohei Ohtani in the leadoff spot while Betts is sidelined.
ESPN noted Betts suffered a fractured left hand during Sunday's 3-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals. He was hit in the hand by a 97.9 mph fastball from Dan Altavilla, although the injury will not require surgery.
