Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani broke a record held by manager Dave Roberts on Saturday, and in return had a gift for him.
In Los Angeles' win over the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, Ohtani hit his eighth home run of the season, breaking Roberts' record for the most home runs by a Dodgers Japanese-born player.
Roberts joked before the record was broken that Ohtani should get him a Porsche when he took the title from him, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). While Ohtani did give him a Porsche, it wasn't exactly what Roberts had in mind.
