Major League Baseball has ended its probe into Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani and cleared him of any wrongdoing after former interpreter Ippei Mizuhara pleaded guilty to fraudulently using Ohtani's money to pay gambling debts.
"MLB considers Shohei Ohtani a victim of fraud and this matter has been closed," MLB said in a statement.
