The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-handed reliever Evan Phillips on the 15-day injured list on Sunday because of a right hamstring strain and activated right-hander Blake Treinen from the IL.
The Phillips move was retroactive to Saturday.
Phillips, 29, last played Friday in the Dodgers' 4-3 win over the Atlanta Braves in extra innings, recording one strikeout in one scoreless inning. This season, he is 8-for-8 in save opportunities with a 0.66 ERA, 17 strikeouts and four walks in 13u2154 innings over 14 relief appearances.
