MILWAUKEE - After losing staff ace Clayton Kershaw to the disabled list with a lower back injury, the Los Angeles Dodgers moved quickly to shore up a depleted pitching staff, acquiring right-hander Bud Norris from the Atlanta Braves.
Norris, who last pitched Sunday, firing seven scoreless innings at the New York Mets, is in line to start Friday against the Colorado Rockies, the spot Kershaw would have occupied.
