Joc Pederson is entering the 2020 MLB season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, with whom he has played since debuting in 2014, but this year was supposed to be the start of a new chapter with the Los Angeles Angels.
The 27-year-old All-Star outfielder was set to be traded from the Dodgers to the Angels along with pitcher Ross Stripling and outfield prospect Andy Pages, but the deal fell through. The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya reported on Feb. 10 that Angels owner Arte Moreno "ordered" the club to pull out of the pending trade.
