Hunter's three-run homer off of Yankees starter CC Sabathia in the third inning made the score 5-0 Twinkies. The team wouldn't score again in the contest, though, ultimately falling 8-5 as the Yankees completed a big comeback. Sad loss aside, Hunter's putting in a strong season for the Twins. The home run was his 16th of the season and pushed his RBI total to 53. He's hitting .254/.308/.443 and while his average has fallen off compared to recent seasons, he continues to mash for power and should pass the 20-homer mark for the 11th time in his career sometime in the next few weeks.
