The best thing to happen to sports since…
The Los Angeles Dodgers are already in first place in the National League West and they’re about to get even better. On Thursday they decided to call up super-prospect Corey Seager.
The 21-year-old Seager is listed as a shortstop, but at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, most evaluators feel he’s going to outgrow the position and move to third base. Seager is almost universally hailed as the top prospect remaining in the minor leagues, and is expected to make an impact immediately.
The Dodgers made Seager the 18th pick in the 2012 MLB Draft and signed him for $2.
