All three of the runs against Tanaka came in the form of solo home runs, with Chris Davis, J.J. Hardy and Manny Machado each mashing a solitary shot. His troubles with the long ball are not isolated, as he's now allowed 13 dingers over his last eight starts. For comparison's sake, he allowed just 15 homers over 20 starts last season, a sign that his stuff is simply not quite as sharp as it was pre-injury. That aside, he's been very consistent since rejoining the Yankees on June 3 and now sports a 3.64 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 81/15 K/BB ratio over 81 2/3 innings.
