The Chicago White Sox announced Monday that pitcher Danny Farquhar is "progressing well following a successful surgery." He also has use of his extremities and is responding to questions following his brain hemorrhage suffered during last Friday's game.
The team also noted the player is in "critical, but neurologically stable condition."
Farquhar was rushed to the hospital after collapsing in the middle of a game, where it was discovered he had had a ruptured aneurysm that caused a hemorrhage.
