Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr. called for Major League Baseball to offer more protection for fans after a young girl was hit by his line drive foul ball during Wednesday's game against the Houston Astros.
"I hope this never happens again," he said, per Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com. "So whatever the league has to do to make that happen. ... I don't think any kid that goes to a baseball game with their parents or loved one should worry about making out unhealthy. I don't think that should ever cross their mind.
