Nelson Cruz went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in the Mariners' extra-innings victory over the Athletics on Saturday afternoon in Oakland.
Cruz singled in the fourth inning, slugged a three-run bomb in the eighth inning, and then singled again in the 10th. The veteran outfielder entered the game on a 1-for-15 season-opening drought. He was signed to a four-year, $57 million free agent contract this winter to bring some needed pop to the Mariners' lineup. Apr 11 - 7:58 PM
