Corey Seager playing some 3B at Double-A - Corey Seager (SS) Los Angeles Dodgers

Dodgers infield prospect Corey Seager has been playing some third base at Double-A Tulsa.

He's played there twice so far this season and president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman expects to see Seager at the hot corner "roughly once a week." Although the consensus among scouts is that the 6-foot-4, 215-pounder will eventually move to third base, the Dodgers aren't ready to push Seager off shortstop yet. "The idea is at some point, whether it’s this year or next year, to the extent that we have an injury and he’s our best option if he’s only played shortstop, that obviously limits him to an injury happening at that one position," Friedman said.
