Crisp Headed to Disabled List
Friday, May 22
According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, A's manager Bob Melvin confirmed that Crisp will be placed on the disabled list, which is undoubtedly the bad news.
Slusser added that Crisp won't have surgery, which means he could return to the field at some point this year and could be looked at as good news.
The 35-year-old has played 13 games this year and is batting .044 with a stolen base to his name.
