Veteran pitcher CC Sabathia will reportedly stay with the New York Yankees after the sides reached an agreement Saturday on a one-year, $10 million deal.
Mark Feinsand of MLB.com first reported the signing and noted Sabathia must pass a physical to make the contract official.
Sabathia's agent, Kyle Thousand told reporters the pitcher felt he had unfinished business in New York, which made him choose the Yankees over other competitive offers.
Sabathia pitched for the Cleveland Indians from 2001 into the 2008 season, when they traded him to the Milwaukee Brewers.
