Just as he was pitching as well as he had in years, New York Yankees starter CC Sabathia could be forced to miss some time.
The veteran allowed just one unearned run in four innings against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night but was forced to leave in the fifth inning because of an injury. According to Max Wildstein of Scout.com, the pitcher was diagnosed with a strain in his left hamstring.
This comes after throwing eight scoreless innings in his previous start against the Boston Red Sox.
