Byron Buxton Out Indefinitely; Toe Injury Diagnosed as Hairline Fracture

Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton, who's on the disabled list while recovering from migraines, suffered a hairline fracture in his big left toe during a rehab game.

Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reported the update Saturday after Buxton underwent an MRI and added that there's no timetable for his return.

A minor hand injury in August wasn't enough to keep him out of action for long, but he was placed on the disabled list in the middle of April this season with migraines.

There was plenty of optimism for Buxton entering this season.
