Butler picks up win despite four runs allowed - Eddie Butler (S) Colorado Rockies

Eddie Butler improved to 2-1 on Friday, though he did allow four runs on nine hits over six innings.

It wasn't a great outing for the 24-year-old Butler, but Chris Heston was slightly worse and the Rockies managed to come away with a 6-4 win. Butler struck out three and walked two in the contest. The Giants scored runs on a two-run homer by Justin Maxwell in the second, an RBI single by Angel Pagan in the third and an RBI double by Brandon Belt in the fifth. Butler currently holds a 3.27 ERA and a 1.68 WHIP across 22 innings.
