The best umpires are the ones nobody talks about.
After home plate ump Marvin Hudson called a strike on a pitch well below Bryce Harper's knees Wednesday night, Harper's body language said what everyone was thinking: That was a ball.
Washington Nationals manager Matt Williams didn't like the call, so he voiced his displeasure from the dugout. Hudson then told Harper to get back in the box, and when the slugger didn't comply to Hudson's liking, he got tossed.
