Red Sox prospect Brian Johnson was lights out Tuesday in a win for Triple-A Pawtucket.
Johnson allowed just two hits over seven shutout frames. The 24-year-old has been coming up aces all year, limiting opponents to a .175 average across three starts. His 0.56 ERA is the lowest in the International League. The Red Sox don't have an opening in the rotation right now, but it looks like Johnson is quickly outgrowing Triple-A.
