St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina is expected to miss about a month after recently going on the disabled list, but that's not the only place his current injury could keep him out of action.
Molina had to leave Saturday's game against the Chicago Cubs after taking a foul tip on a 101 mph pitch to the, um, groin.
Derrick Gould of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Molina underwent surgery after suffering a pelvic injury with traumatic hematoma. A procedure like that will certainly sideline a player, but it could also have ramifications on his personal life.
