The Boston Red Sox are having yet another season to forget, but they’ve done enough damage control to avoid labeling 2015 as a complete failure.

The most important step in saving face for the Red Sox was their decision to convert Hanley Ramirez to first base. Moving the worst defensive outfielder in the Majors to the infield full-time has allowed the Sox one huge accomplishment: getting Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr.
