For anyone who went to Toronto Blue Jays games from 1977 to 1989, there are certainly a lot of fond memories from old Exhibition Stadium. Most of those would be about the teams, and individual players, and specific games, and very little if anything about the stadium itself. The “Mistake by the Lake” as it is now often referred to, was a horrible baseball stadium in a number of ways and from a 2015 point of view it’s hard to believe that the city of Toronto could even land a Major League franchise with Exhibition Stadium in its proposal.
