ESPN noted the Toronto Blue Jays placed the shortstop, who has not played since Friday, on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. They also optioned pitcher Brandon Eisert to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled infielder Orelvis Martinez and pitcher Ryan Burr in corresponding moves.
