Bartolo Colon Singles on Line Drive, Tags Up and Hustles to 3rd Base on Fly Ball

One day after celebrating his 42nd birthday, New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon is showing that age is just a number.

Colon led off the bottom of the fifth inning of Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a line-drive single to left field. It was the second hit of the season for the pitcher, matching his total from a season ago. Crazily, his helmet managed to stay on his head as he swung the bat.

Then, when the Mets' Juan Lagares hit a fly ball to right-center field two batters later, the 285-pound Colon tagged up and hustled over to third base.
