The Houston Astros' sign-stealing scandal has likely claimed its final victim.
On Thursday, the New York Mets and manager Carlos Beltran agreed to part ways in response to him being implicated in the aforementioned scandal:

Beltran had only been on the job since the Mets hired him as the successor to Mickey Callaway on Nov. 1, at which point he seemed like an inspired choice.
