Athletics activated 1B Nate Freiman from the 15-day disabled list, optioned to Triple-A Nashville.
With the emergence of Mark Canha as a legitmate bat off the bench and backup at first base, Freiman became expendable. He'll continue to serve as organizational depth for the A's while playing everyday at Triple-A. May 9 - 1:24 PM
