Arrieta’s recent struggles likely due to fatigue, not pressure

Come November, when the votes for the Cy Young Award are tabulated, Jake Arrieta may very well obtain the majority of the first-place votes – and few would have an argument with that decision.

Combining a stoic personality on the mound with a baffling array of pitches, the 29-year-old strung together an amazing second half performance that rendered him to something akin to superhero status.
