Mother Nature caused the first rainout at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in more than two decades Sunday. With the outfield grass still wet Monday, the Los Angeles Angels found a way to get the field dry enough to play a doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox.
They called the police.
While it may not have been an emergency, Anaheim's finest were willing to help out with a helicopter. The craft flew over and hovered above the field to dry the grass:
