Alex Rodriguez is just happy to be included.
The New York Yankees held an Old Timers' Day on October 24 against the Colorado Rockies. The 2009 World Series team was honored on the 15th anniversary of the championship season, but third baseman Alex Rodriguez acknowledged that he was not necessarily expecting an invitation.
"I was actually surprised that I got an invitation," Rodriguez said following the game, per Jorge Castillo of ESPN. "Honored. Very happy."
