Twins prospect Alex Meyer recorded 11 strikeouts Tuesday in his third start for Triple-A Rochester.
That ties a career-high. Meyer didn't allow a run in six innings of work, lowering his ERA from 8.31 to 4.91 in the process. A first-round pick out of the University of Kentucky in 2011, Meyer is MLB.com's 29th-ranked prospect. He'll make his next start at home against Syracuse.
